Dr. Balcı Asafrana graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at Ege University (Izmir, Turkey) in 1998. Her clinical foundation and early experience in general dentistry soon evolved into a broader role at the intersection of dental science, education, and industry leadership.
For more than a decade, Dr. Balcı Asafrana held senior roles at 3M Oral Care Turkey, where she served as a Senior Scientific Marketing & Education Specialist and earlier as a Professional Services Coordinator. In these positions, she was responsible for:
• Developing and leading nationwide clinical workshops and lectures
• Educating dental professionals and sales teams on advanced restorative solutions
• Managing key opinion leader (KOL) relations
• Translating complex dental materials into accessible and accurate Turkish-language resources
• Launching major product lines in collaboration with academic and industry partners
Her unique ability to blend scientific rigor with real-world application has made her a sought-after figure in dental education and strategic clinical partnerships.
