Dr. Medha Singh has experience in dentistry as a clinician, academician, researcher, consultant, and volunteer.
Dr. Singh was an Assistant Professor at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and a part-time faculty in periodontology at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Harvard University.
During her tenure as an Assistant Professor at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Singh was the periodontal examiner and co-investigator on various research projects in the Division of Oral Medicine and Dental Research. She worked as a co-investigator on research funded by the National Institute of Health (NIH), USA. Her research was focused on drug therapies for managing periodontal disease in patients with salivary hypofunction.
She has served as the Chair of the Periodontics section of the American Dental Education Association.
She has also served as the Scientific Group and Network Officer of the Geriatric Oral Research Group of the International Association for Dental Research.
She serves on the editorial board of the International Journal of Experimental Dental Science and International Journal of Dental Science and Research.
She is a clinical consultant for Dental Advisor providing product evaluation for dental materials and small uninstalled equipment.
She is a dental consultant for the Gerson Lehrman Group (a financial services company) providing expert knowledge services on dental implants and periodontal disease to professionals and businesses.
Dr. Singh has been working as a periodontist in multispecialty private practices in Massachusetts performing periodontal, dental implant, and oral surgery procedures. She provides comprehensive periodontal treatment care to pediatric and adult patients.
In addition to her clinical and scholarly activities, Dr. Singh does volunteer work. She offers her knowledge and skills as a volunteer in underprivileged communities both in India as well as in the Boston area.
