With a passion for innovation, Dr. Kapogianni worked as a Research Associate at the University of Düsseldorf, focusing on Class III treatment using Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs). Her doctoral research (Dr. med. dent.), titled “Effects of Coupling of Orthodontic Mini Implants on Their Primary Stability,” contributes valuable insights into skeletal anchorage and orthodontic biomechanics.
Following her postgraduate training, she worked for four years as Head Orthodontist at 360 Grad Zahnspange, in one of Germany’s largest private dental centers. There, she specialized in comprehensive orthodontic treatments for pediatric and adult patients, utilizing Aligners, Lingual Orthodontics, and Skeletal Anchorage Systems (TADs) to provide highly effective and aesthetic treatment solutions. In 2019 Eirini Kapogianni returned to Athens, Greece, where she founded her private orthodontic clinic, dedicated to delivering advanced, patient-centered orthodontic care. Committed to making a broader impact, she founded in 2019 “Back to Greece,” an initiative that supports the brain gain movement in Greece, helping highly skilled professionals reintegrate into Greece’s professional and scientific landscape.
