• Leadership in Oral Radiology and Advanced Imaging Services: Oversee the delivery and coordination of Oral Radiology and Advanced Imaging services across WesternU’s College of Dental Medicine (CDM) main campus, Patient Care Center (PCC), and all satellite and community-based dental clinics.
• Radiology Reporting and Consultation: Provide comprehensive radiology reports from Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) scans to support clinical decision-making. Offer evidence-based clinical oral radiology consultations to faculty, students, and specialists to guide diagnostic and treatment planning.
• Collaboration on Scientific Research: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including faculty, students, and specialists from CDM and other university departments, to research, write, and publish scientific articles in oral radiology and related fields.
• Teaching and Curriculum Development: Mentor dental students and medical fellows on the acquisition, application, and navigation of 3D imaging in clinical practice.
• Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) Duties
  • Serve as the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) for the Patient Care Center (PCC), ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Lead the periodic review and update of the oral radiation section within the PCC clinic manual to ensure that current radiation safety procedures are maintained.
