This group is constituted by female dental professionals selected by achievement and professional excellence criteria. The LLD Dental Professionals are dedicated to excellence, innovation, and leadership in the field. They join the group to inspire, support, share knowledge and connect women across all dental specialties and career stages, promoting professional growth, mentorship, and collaboration.
LLD brings together international female professional groups that sign the Agreement of Affiliation (Memorandum of Understanding). These groups become LLD Affiliate Societies in the work of creating a global network of leading women in dentistry.
An LLD Affiliated Community is a locally or thematically organized group of dental professionals who align with the mission and values of Leading Ladies in Dentistry , promoting and nurturing leadership in the female dental profession on a local, regional, or thematic level.
General Selection Criteria:
1. Clinical or Scientific Excellence:
– Recognized expert in clinical work, research, or innovation. Includes publications, patents, teaching, or pioneering
2. Inspirational Leadership & Influence:
– Demonstrates mentorship, holds leadership roles, drives progress in organizations, or influences dental education
3. Holistic, Ethical & Human-Centered Care:
– Advocates for whole-person care, emotional intelligence, ethics, inclusion, sustainability, or integrative approache
